Antrim & District Angling Club offers various permits and application forms, please select the permit or application you require.

  • Full A&Daa club Membership: full membership application

    To apply to become a full member of A&DAA, please download and print this form and return it to the club’s secretary. Due to the large amount of applications and limited membership places it can take sometime for your application to be successful. Please be aware that you will only be contacted if and when you application is successful, this may take some time, but be assured your application is on the waiting list.

  • Your application will be based on a points based system.

    Applicants will gain points for the following:

    1. Where you live - BT41 & BT39 2. If you have a family member already in the club. (This is a direct family member, Grandfather, Father, Son, Daughter)

    3. Junior applications, under 18. 4. Consecutive years applied (Please send the secretary a reminder each year of your interest, you do that by clicking the following link.) Yearly Membership Reminder Email.

    Together with your application form you must also include a passport sized photograph and proof of your address, e.g. driver’s licence or a utility bill.

    2024 ADAA SENIOR SEASON RIVER PERMIT: 2024 SENIOR SEASON RIVER PERMIT

    There are 20 Senior Season Permits available for the 2024 season, priced at £250. You can now apply for this Permit and it must be received by the 29th Feb 2024. Please download and fill in this form, please attach a picture of yourself to the application. You can return it to the Membership Secretary by email to adaamembers@gmail.com. NO payment will be required until your membership application has been confirmed by the committee. You will be informed if you are successful after the first committee meeting in March.

    To apply for a Potterswall Dam Season Permit of A&DAA, please fill in this online form and make payment. You will receive a confirmation email. Please note, there is a quota of 15 season permits per season only. If we have more than 15 applications we will place your name in a lotto and the first 15 names drawn will be awarded a season permit.

    2024 COARSE SEASON PERMIT

    Bailiff Application Form:

    If you would like to apply to become an ADAA Private Water Bailiff you can apply by clicking the link below, downloading a printing the form and retuning it to the Honour Secretary Mr Allen Fleming. Your application will be considered by the ADAA Committee and you may be required to attend an interview. You will be expected to work within a team patrol on a weekly rota every 4 weeks during the year.

    If you would like to apply to become an ADAA official Guide you can apply by clicking the link below, download and print the form and retuning it to the Honour Secretary Mr Allen Fleming. Your application will be considered by the ADAA Committee and you may be required to attend an interview. ADAA has allocated space for 6 official guides each year if you feel you have the experience and knowledge of the SMW then you are more than welcome to apply. Applications and payment must be received on or before 28th February.

    2024 DAERA Fishing Rod Licence

    Apply for a DAERA Game and Coarse Rod License:

    If you use a fishing rod you are required under law and as part of the A&DAA clubs by-laws to hold game and/or coarse rod licence. You can purchase a rod licence from the NI Direct government website by clicking the link below. Please note that if you purchase a Game Rod Licence, this will also include a coarse licence. If you purchase a coarse license then you will only be permitted to fish the coarse fishery.
